- Bob: I made a change and got 3 errors, printed as line 0.
  - I can get 8 errors too.
  - There is a procedure for correcting the files.
- Mike: It would help for ibischk to indicate line number correctly
  - Also give the charecter position.
  - The "0x" is missing from these hexadecimal messages.
- Bob: That's a flasse message anyway.
- Lance: Can a quoted string have parentheses in them?
- Bob: No
- Mike: IBIS does not prohibit that
- Lance: If it can't have parentheses it will terminate there.
- Bob described the procedure for fixing the files.
- Mike showed IBIS 6.1 where it describes AMI quoted strings.
- Bob: It should report only one error.
  - The line numbering is off by one.
- Lance: That will make errors hard to find.
  - It should at least give the root.
- Bob: The other ibischk messages that produce false errors from one true error.
